This course provides awareness about asbestos and is suitable for both team members and managers. It offers information on what asbestos is, how it can be harmful, and the steps you can take to reduce its effects.
However, it’s important to note that this training does not qualify you to work with asbestos-containing materials. You’ll need additional training outside of this course to perform that task.

Know how to avoid the risks of asbestos
List some of the likely uses and locations for asbestos products in buildings
Explain the general emergency procedures should asbestos be discovered or disturbed
List the diseases caused by exposure to asbestos and understand the increased risk for smokers
